As most of you know by now, homeopathic medicine and holistic treatments are used by a countless amount of people around the world who want an alternative way to treat certain conditions. Although it is not recommended, some people choose to diagnose themselves and then research treatments on the Internet. This is not a safe way to approach homeopathy because a professional opinion is always needed in order to ensure that remedies will be safe for your body.

There is a website known as The International Directory of Homeopaths and it has a rather large list of homeopathic doctors with contact information. Keep in mind, however, that this type of medicine is not regulated by the FDA and it may be difficult to find a doctor in your specific area. For example, this directory only has 488 homeopathic doctors for the entire United States of America.

Once again, I strongly urge that you do a lot of preliminary research before choosing a homeopathic doctor. While most stories about homeopathy are those of success, there occasionally are some cases where the treatments caused more harm than good. Be smart about who you trust for medical treatment and always do your own research before choosing a remedy or physician.
